Customized Group Programs
As a large and diverse district, Richmond can offer excellent options for groups who wish to have a program tailored to their specific needs and educational goals. Groups of 15 or more students can benefit from a wide range of school and course options, including ELL and other non-academic courses such as Physical Education, Computer Studies, Art and Music.
Program Options
We offer Full or Partial Immersion programs depending on the group size and time of year. Partial Immersion combines group classes that focus on language development with regular academic classes with Canadian students. All classes are taught by certified BC teachers.
Partial immersion programs include integration in classrooms with domestic students throughout the study period. The amount of classroom integration will depend on availability and may not happy every day.
- Grades: 1 to 12
- Non-credit or credit programming
- Entry dates: Varied. Groups are welcome during the school year from October to June. Programs can also be developed during the summer. Subjects will include Placement will depend on space availability.
- Homestay arranged through the RIE Homestay Program when space is available.
