Summer Academic English
6 WEEK SUMMER ACADEMIC ENGLISH PROGRAM
This program will develop English competency for academic success in Canada. Classes will focus on the specific skills and vocabulary used in Canadian academic settings, both at the secondary and post-secondary level.
Students participate in English classes Monday, Wednesday and Friday and full day activities on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
This intensive ELL summer program is perfect for students who want to sharpen language skills needed for secondary and post-secondary programs. Students will build confidence using language critical to academic success and become familiar with expectations in a Canadian educational environment.
- Dates: July 4 to August 11, 2023
- Time: 9:00am – 3:00pm, Monday to Friday
- Ages: Suitable for students in grade 8 to 12
- Location: Richmond Secondary School
2023 Fees: $4350 (Includes tuition and insurance). Homestay can be arranged through the RIE Homestay Program (Grade 8 to 12 only) for $1990.

- Picture page AND the signature page of the signing parent's Passport or Personal Identification
- Signed Declaration of Eligibility.
- Homestay arranged through the RIE Homestay Program (Grade 8 to 12 only) for $1990. Homestay arrival date is July 2. Homestay departure date is August 12, 2023.
